The Owego Fire Department responded to a structure fire on George Street on Saturday afternoon.
The call came in at about 3:45 p.m. with reports of heavy smoke pouring from the second story of a single-family home.
About 35 firefighters from Owego, Apalachin, Campville and Newark Valley battled the fire and had it under control in about 20 minutes.
There were no reported injuries from the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
