The Owego Riverwalk is next in line to receive upgrades through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
The village is currently using its DRI state funding for renovations in Marvin Park, but next year it will be the river walk’s turn.
The project is expected to cost around $100,000 and will help make the cleanup process after flooding easier.
Construction on the Owego Riverwalk is expected to take place in the spring of 2025.
