New York State Police arrested two people over the weekend in connection to a robbery at McDonald’s in Owego. Alan Rynat Jr. and Robyn Kipp, both of Owego, were arrested Saturday. Police were called to McDonalds on Hickories Park Rd. around 1:20 a.m. on March 3 for a robbery at gunpoint. According to State Police, a male wearing a mask and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt forced employees into the freezer and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. An investigation by State Police revealed a conspiracy between a restaurant employee and the male suspect. A search warrant was executed on their residence and vehicle. Rynat Jr. and Kipp were arraigned and remanded to the Tioga County Jail.
