Owego Police Department issued a reminder Thursday that the traffic light at Main Street and Church Street is set to blinking red, which makes it a four-way stop. The village has also installed a “stop ahead” sign just before this intersection.
Owego officers have been on patrol at this intersection and have issued more than 40 warning tickets. OPD will continue to monitor this intersection and begin to issue traffic citations.
