Johnson City defeated Owego 74 – 57 in Friday’s Southern Tier Athletic Conference basketball game on Senior Night in Johnson City.
The game was marred by a serious injury to Johnson City junior Ryan Clark.
Late in the third quarter Clark suffered a severely dislocated right ankle.
The game was delayed for a half hour while Clark was attended to.
He was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The 6 foot 6 inch Clark is a heavily recruited baseball pitcher.
Thre JC players had 16 points apiece: Clark, Ian Pettiford, and senior Troy Robinson.
Mark Merritt had 22 points for Owego. Matt Warchocki had 11.
