The Court Street Bridge in Owego was closed for a few hours Monday after a tractor-trailer rollover.
Around 5am, Owego Police say the tractor-trailer was hauling scrap metal when it rolled over while turning onto the south end of the bridge from Route 434. The scrap metal was dumped into the oncoming lane.
The driver was not injured. He was ticketed for failing to reduce speed.
The truck was on its way to Upstate Shredding on Route 38. Workers from the company were called in to help clean up the scrap metal.
The Owego Fire Department was also at the scene.
The bridge was reopened around 9am after engineers from the Department of Transportation inspected the structure to make sure it was not damaged.
