The death of an Owego teenager who was killed May 1 when he was struck by a train at the track on South Depot Street has been ruled an accident. Owego police said in a press statement issued Thursday that 17-year-old Kyle Davis was heading eastbound on the southside railway and was struck by an eastbound Norfolk Southern Train. Davis
died at the scene. Owego police Chief Joseph Kennedy Jr. said the investigation has been completed and the death was ruled accidental.
