National Drug Take-Back Day is expanding in Tioga County. Lourdes Primary Care in Richford in northern Tioga County will be a new drop-off point from 10am to 2pm on Thursday. National Drug Take-Back Day itself is this Saturday.
Take a look around your house for outdated, unwanted or unused prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs.
You can drop off these drugs at Lourdes in Richford on Thursday or on Saturday from 10am to 2pm at the the Owego Pharmacy in the Tops Plaza on Route 17C or the Spencer Fire Department at 41 North Main Street.
Chemung County
Chemung County Sheriff’s Office will take part in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Nationwide prescription Drug “Take Back” Initiative on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Chemung County residents are being encouraged to turn in their expired and unused prescription medications for proper disposal. Residents are asked to keep the medications in their original container with the label intact; however, they may blacken out their name. All medications, ointments and sprays are accepted. We cannot accept needles. Residents can drop off their medications at the following
