Fire Causes Equipment Damage at Upstate Shredding

A Saturday afternoon fire has damaged an Upstate Shredding building in Owego. The fire started when a welder created a spark that started some equipment on fire. There was heavy damage to equipment in the building. The building itself is still standing, but the level of damage to the building has not been reported. There were no injuries.
