Four Seats Open In Today's Village Of Owego Elections

Today is Election Day in the Village of Owego.  Voters will be electing candidates to fill four open seats.  Kevin Millar from the Oak Tree Party is taking on John Boland from the Citizens Party for a 2 year term in the 1st Ward.  In the 2nd Ward, Nathan Kennedy from the People’s Voice Party is up against Earl Hartman from the Citizens Party to fill out the remaining year of a two-year term.  In the 3rd ward Melody Patterson from the People’s Voice Party running against Jim Legursky from the Citizens Party for a two year term.  And also in the 3rd ward for a 2 year term, Jason Fritz is running against Doug Warden from the Citizen’s Party.  The election will be from Noon until 9 pm, at the Central Fire Station on North Avenue, and will be by paper ballot.
