In a battle that saw frequent lead changes, Norwich defeated Owego in girls basketball on Friday 43 – 39.
Norwich disrupted the OFA offense with 19 steals and managed to gain control of the game with seconds left.
Owego’s top scorers Rachel Merrill and Brittany Rando fouled out in the fourth quarter.
Merrill led Owego with 12 points. Hannah Runyon had 17 for Norwich.
Owego now has 8 wins and 4 losses; Norwich has 11 wins and only 2 losses.
