Norwich defeated the Owego girls basketball team 49 – 44 in a Class A semifinal game on Saturday.
OFA led throughout, but with only 4 minutes remaining in the game Norwich went on a quick 8 – 0 run and took the lead 41 – 40.
Hannah Runyon had 18 points for Norwich, including 9 points from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
Brittany Rando had 17 points for OFA, and Rachel Merrill added 14.
Owego finished a terrific season with 14 wins and 6 losses.
