The development of the Owego girl’s baketball team continued Saturday with a major win against Lansing.
OFA defeated 16th ranked Lansing 54 – 30.
Lansing entered the game with 13 wins and 1 loss.
Owego dominated Lansing throughout.
The Indians began the game with an 11 -2 run and led 24 – 7 at halftime.
Brittany Murphy had a team high 18 points and added 6 steals.
Courtney Malia added 17.
Freshman Rachel Merrill had a double digit game in rebounds with 11.
Owego now has a record of 11 wins and 4 losses.
They play their final regular season game on Tuesday against Susquehanna Valley.
