The Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation hosted its “Good Guy” Breakfast at the Elks Lodge in Owego this weekend. This is the 16th year of the Breakfast. It honors businesses, individuals, and organizations that promote the health and well being of youth and families in Tioga County. More than $9,000 in small grants and scholarships were handed out to twenty organizations serving Tioga County youth. Youth that volunteer in the community were also recognized. This year’s breakfast also honored long time volunteer Gae Crosby, who recently passed away. Crosby promoted the development of special needs citizens in the community.
