The Family Enrichment Network, will be conducting two Provider Information Nights in February for anyone who is interested in learning more about opening their own child care business in their own home.
Classes will be offered Thursday, February 3rd beginning at 6:30 pm at the Tioga County office located at 1277 Taylor Road in Owego and Wednesday, February 9th at 6:30 pm at the Broome County office at 24 Cherry Street in Johnson City.
Discussions will include the application process, regulation requirements, and grants that are available to start the process of becoming a registered child care provider.
In New York State, you must be registered with the Office of Children and Family services to provide care for more than two (2) unrelated children in your own home.
