Employees at Lockheed Martin are trying to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local nonprofit organizations. It’s part of the annual Employee Charities of Choice Campaign. More than 40 local and national nonprofits set up tables in Lockheed’s cafeteria yesterday to talk to employees about their needs for donations. It’s the beginning of a three week-long campaign to give back to, and connect with the community. Last year Lockheed Martin raised $700,000 and hopes to match that same number this year.
