Lockheed Martin says there will be layoffs in its Missions Systems and Sensors Division, however they have not announced where the cuts will be made.
Representatives say 350 positions will be cut nationwide in May.
The Lockheed Martin division has two plants in Owego and Salina.
The company hasn’t said which locations will be affected, but a spokesman for the Salina plant says he expects to see some reductions.
Both sites were hit by company cutbacks last year with Salina losing 53 jobs and Owego losing 104.
The defense contractor employs about 132,000 people worldwide
