Lockheed Martin and partner Sikorsky Aircraft have won a US Navy contract worth $1.4 billion.
The joint venture, Maritime Helicopter Support Company, will provide parts and repair services for the H-60 Seahawk helicopter fleet.
Lockheed’s Mission Systems and Sensors division in Owego will be the primary Lockheed Martin participant in the contract.
The fixed bid contract will carry through January 2015.
