January 9 is law enforcement appreciation day. I would like to take some time to thank our men and women in law enforcement. These individuals leave their families everyday to risk thier lives protecting ours. I would like to thank not only our Owego Police Department staff but all other law enforcement in our community. This includes all the behind the scene staff also, thank you for your dedication and willingness to run toward danger in efforts to protect the community we call home.
