The Village of Owego is about to experience a renaissance, according to developer Bill Thomas.
“I just have to tell everyone who is listening…Owego is a crown jewel,” Thomas told WEBO. “This village is going to experience a lot of growth and a lot of change, because this is what people are seeking now.”
Thomas is the owner of Minka Homes in Ithaca. His company specializes in building communities filled with 350 to 900 square foot compact homes. The Nichols native predicts that we will see at least one of these small-house developments in Owego at some point next year. He says they are looking at two different locations in the village, including one on North Avenue. The full interview is available below.
