A short electricity outage is planned for parts of Owego at 10AM on Friday March 18th.
The outage is expected to last for about five minutes.
The streets affected will include Talcott, George, Hill, Adeline, Spruce, West, NY Rt. 96 from East Avenue to approximately ½ mile past the NY Rt. 38 intersection.
Also affected are Dean Street and Carmichael Road.
The areas affected will be from the Owego Free Academy High School and Owego Apalachin Middle School out to NY Rt. 96 and then north along NY Rt. 96 for one or two miles.
Schools will not be in session that day.
