Changes are coming with the delivery of emergency medical services in the village of Owego. Like scores of other communities have done, the
ambulance is splitting from the fire department…and will become an independent billing agency beginning April 2nd. The village board approved the plan this week. The change is designed to generate revenue to counter
continuously rising medical costs. The mayor says no village resident will be denied service based on ability to pay.
