FROM THE CHIEF’S DESK: We need to help protect our first responders in our community. If you call for service for the Fire Department, EMS or Law Enforcement, please let the dispatcher/call-takers know if you have been exposed or are having symptoms of any flu-like illnesses. This will help our first responders prepare for the call by wearing the appropriate equipment to keep you and them safe.

Police response may also change as far as non-emergency calls. If it is not an emergency, officers may take your complaint over the phone. Of course, if needed they will still respond.

In regards to the Covid 19 (Coronavirus) pandemic that is affecting all of us in this community: Please follow the recommendations of the CDC and our local health department. Please be considerate of other people in the community and help the people in need.

If we work together and follow the recommendations and use common sense, we as a community will get through this. Please be safe.
