Owego Police have released the name of the person responsible for the vandalism that occurred at 57 North Avenue in Owego around 6:30 on Wednesday evening. 40-year-old Ronald Benson of Owego had shot out the window of a local bridal shop with a BB gun. Benson was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree, damage to property exceeding $1,500 which is a class D Felony. It was also determined that Benson was a Fugitive from Justice from the State of PA. He is wanted by the West Chester District Attorney office in PA for making terroristic threats. Benson was arraigned in the Village of Owego County and remanded to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
