Memorial Day 2019 in Owego Honors All Fallen Heroes in the traditional 10:30 a.m. downtown Parade and 11 a.m. Service of Remembrance at the Tioga County Veterans Memorial. The ceremony will be broadcast live starting at 11am on Your Hometown Station WEBO.
Honored names of 5,000 Tioga County veterans will be read from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tribute to Fallen Heroes is from 10:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There will also be a Remembrance Memorial Day Mass at 9 a.m. at St.
Patrick’s Church. Local officials say there will also be special recognition to the longest living WWII veterans and those in the D-Day and Normandy Landings.
