Tuesday is the 69th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The Owego VFW will host an event to remember those who were killed at 1pm in the Dale Sibley Memorial Dining Room at the Glenn A. Warner Post 1371 on Main Street.
Sibley, an Owego native, was killed at Pearl Harbor. Four others from Tioga County survived the attack.
All families of Pearl Harbor survivors and members of the public are invited to attend the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Program at the Owego VFW.
