Owego, Campville, Southside and Apalachin and other Tioga County Fire, Emergency and Police personnel will conduct their 17th annual September 11th Memorial tomorrow at 8:46AM in Hickories Park.
The ceremony will especially remember former Town of Owego Resident Derek James Statkevicus. He was a Vestal High School graduate and Eagle Scout with Apalachin Troop 43. Derek was employed by KBW Bank and was on the 86th floor of the World Trade Center, South Tower.
Speakers will include Town of Owego Supervisor Dominic Castellucci and New York State Senator Fred Akshar.
