The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office has released more information on how an Owego man was injured on Sunday night.
Investigators now say that 32-year-old Jacques Harrington fell out of a moving vehicle around 10pm Sunday.
He was riding in the car with 36-year-old Sherry Stasko when he apparently opened up the passenger side door and fell out in the area near 395 Glenmary Drive. Stasko stopped the car and waited for police to arrive. She is now facing a few different charges after she was determined to be driving drunk.
Harrington suffered severe head and chest trauma. He was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
The sheriff’s office says Owego Fire Department and EMS members assisted them at the scene.
