State Police Make Impersonation Arrest

The New York State Police in Owego have arrested 45-year-old Christian Perakovich, of Montoursville, PA for the felony of Possession of a Forged Instrument and the misdemeanor of Criminal Impersonation. On February 8th, troopers were made aware that Perakovich provided a false name when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation. Perakovich is further accused of sending the traffic ticket to the town of Owego Court with the impersonation victim’s signature on it.  After an investigation, Perakovich was arrested on July 3rd.  He was arraigned at the Town of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
