New York State Police are requesting public assistance for a hit and run accident that occurred in Owego on Tuesday night.
At around 7PM, a vehicle backing out of the Sunoco on Route 434 hit a light pole.
The pole fell and hit a GMC Sonoma parked in the Blue Dolphin parking lot.
The vehicle then fled the scene.
