Tioga County ‘Allies in Substance Abuse Prevention’ Receives Grant

The Tioga County Allies in Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition has received a Drug-Free Communities Support Program grant. The funds are intended to prevent youth substance use, including prescription drugs, marijuana, tobacco, and alcohol. Grants are provided to community coalitions to sustain a reduction in youth substance use. Tioga County Community Services Board will receive the funding on behalf of the coalition. CASA-Trinity Prevention Services will guide the coalition through the mechanics of developing a county-wide prevention plan.
