The American Red Cross in partnership with several other organizations will be hosting Tioga County’s First Annual Spring Preparedness Day on Saturday, April 16th at the Countryside Community Center in Owego from 9am-1pm.
The day will include a series of events geared towards preparing our communities in times of potential flooding, tornadoes, and thunderstorms.
Topics of discussion include: dry proofing, warning signs, taking shelter, cloud identification, lightening safety, and more.
Spring and summer are fast approaching and Spring Preparedness Day will ensure that residents know just how to be Red Cross Ready.
