Anna D’Arcy, the Student Council President at Newark Valley High School, and a Student Board Member for the Tioga United Way talked with us at WEBO about an upcoming fundraiser. An after school floor hockey tournament between Newark Valley High School students and Owego Free Academy students is being held this Tuesday to raise money for the Tioga United Way. In addition to student teams, a Newark Valley faculty team will take on an OFA faculty team in the tournament as well.
The tournament will be held for students and the community in the Newark Valley High School Gymnasium on Tuesday, beginning at 7pm. The ticket price will be a free will offering at the door.
