The Town of Owego will hold two public information sessions today about the Community Choice Aggregation program, which would allow the town to help residents save money on utility bills.The program would allow the Town of Owego to select a supplier and buy energy in bulk for the entire town to save money, avoid sudden rate spikes and avoid marketing campaigns.Supervisor Don Castellucci said today’s hearings are set for 11:30am at Tioga Opportunities in Owego at 6pm at the Owego Apalachin Middle School in the auditorium. Town of Union officials are also looking at the possibility of implementing this program.
