A fire early Monday morning destroyed the restaurant portion of the Newark Valley Truck Stop.
The fire did not damage the rear of the building, where the truck stop is located.
The business is closed until further notice however.
Newark Valley Fire Department responded to the 1AM fire with assistance from Berkshire, Owego, Maine, and Weltonville.
Temperatures were in the minus 10 range at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported despite the difficult conditions faced by the firefighters.
