Upstate Shredding – Ben Weitsman, headquartered in Owego, has acquired land to build a new scrap metal processing facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The new location will be named Ben Weitsman of Scranton and is scheduled to be operational by June 1.
Adam Weitsman, president of Upstate-Ben Weitsman said we “are proceeding to construct what will be the finest, most modern scrap metal processing facility in the Scranton area.”
The new facility is expected to create approximately 20 new jobs for local area residents.
