The Owego girls’ basketball team will host the Seton Saints Friday in the WEBO Game of the Week.

The Indians are 4-3 so far this season, with six of their first seven games on the road. They are coming off a strong effort on Tuesday against the state’s top Class B team, Oneonta, ending up just six points away from an upset.
Owego won the Waverly Holiday Basketball Tournament last week, beating Tioga in the semifinals and Waverly in the championship game. Senior Brittany Rando was named tournament MVP, joined on the all-tourney team by teammates Courtney Malia and Rachel Merrill.
Seton is 5-2 to begin their season.
