The 2010-11 high school basketball season begins on WEBO Friday with a boys’ basketball game between the Owego Free Academy Indians and the Norwich Purple Tornado.

Owego is looking for revenge after they lost by 15 points to their STAC Central Division rivals in an early-season tournament at Norwich last weekend.
The Indians beat Oxford on Friday while Norwich took down Chenango Valley.
Friday’s game is the first of seven scheduled boys’ and girls’ basketball broadcasts for WEBO this year.
Former Union-Endicott varsity boys’ basketball coach Kevin McManus will join WEBO Sports Director Chris Schmidt for the broadcast.
