Whittemore Hill Road in the Town of Owego is closed to through traffic until further notice, according to the town’s highway department. The closure is due to a deteriorating culvert under the roadway. The road will be closed until replacement is complete, a time frame is yet to be determined for this repair.
Also, John Street in the village of Owego is closed today, and possibly tomorrow, for sewer repairs.
