An individual who had previously testified for the prosecution in the Cal Harris murder trial has plead the 5th. 25-year-old Gregory Farr made his plea during court proceedings in Schoharie County Court yesterday. Farr is currently serving a 19 year prison sentence after being convicted of murder. He testified for the prosecutors last week, when he stated that he overheard Cal Harris admit to killing his wife Michele. Farr said that he heard Harris’ admission while imprisoned with him at the Auburn Correctional Facility in 2011. Farr says that he plead the 5th for fear of further incriminating himself. Presiding Justice Richard Mott has since disregarded all of Farr’s testimony as the trial moves forward.
