World record broken in Apalachin yesterday

The world record for longest wiffle ball game now resides in Apalachin. The 36 students from Owego Free Academy succeeded in their efforts to break the world record. Their game began at around noon on Wednesday, and finished at 6:24pm yesterday. The two teams played for over 30 hours, with the Red team defeating the Blue team 263 to 259. The entire game was recorded and will now be submitted to Guinness World Records for review.
