The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the on-ramp from State Route 962J to State Route 17 westbound at Exit 66 in Apalachin will be closed on Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25.
The on-ramp is scheduled to be closed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days. The ramp closure is necessary to facilitate paving operations.
A signed detour will be in place. Motorists will be directed to take State Route 434 west to Exit 65 in Owego. Traffic will be able to access State Route 17 westbound at that interchange.
All construction activities with this project are weather-dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
