Martha Sauerbrey, the Chair of the Tioga County Legislature, will be conducting a series of public hearings across the county asking for community input on the Shared Services Property Tax Savings Plan Initiative. The Tioga County Shared Services Panel comprised of municipal officials has been meeting regularly since May 2017 to identify possible items for Plan inclusion. The Panel recently met and decided to focus on shared information technology and communication services for this year’s Plan submission. The public hearing schedule is as follows:
