A Sayre man has been charged after he allegedly stole fuel from vehicles owned by the Waverly Central School District.
According to Waverly Police, 61-year-old John James Robbins was arrested last month and charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor petit larceny.
Police said Robbins drilled holes into two gas tanks and stole $224 worth of fuel from Waverly School District vehicles which were parked at Waverly High School.
The estimated damage and labor cost to repair the vehicles is over $2,800.
The Sayre Police Department arrested Robbins on July 7th and he was sent to the Bradford County Jail until he was extradited to New York on July 30th.
