Sayre Borough Police have filed charges against 62-year-old James Carnrike in district court. He is now facing a charge of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, a third-degree felony. Sayre Borough police were dispatched Wednesday to a report of shots fired on North Elmer Avenue at the apartment building in which Carnrike lives.
