An employee with the Spencer-Van Etten school district resigned after allegations of harassment on a school bus. The Tioga County Sheriff’s office charged Howard Snyder of Barton with Menacing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment for an incident that happened on a school bus on November 7. Spencer-Van Etten School District officials reported the incident to the Sheriff’s Office. The Superintendent of the school district said Snyder has since resigned from his position. Snyder was arraigned in the Town of Candor Court and released on his own recognizance; he is to reappear in Town of Candor Court at a later date.
