OWEGO — The Strawberry Festival 5K Rock and Run will return to Owego this summer.
The run will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 13th at Hickories Park as a kickoff for the 42nd annual Strawberry Festival.
Registration for the 5K opens on March 1st at 10 a.m. The first person to sign up for the race receives a free Strawberry Festival t-shirt.
The cost is $35 per person from March 1st through June 6th. It goes up to $45 after June 6th at 5 p.m.
There will also be music, food trucks and other festivities during the event. More information is available online at owego.org/rock-run5k.
