Waverly Police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious fire at a used car dealership over the weekend.
The fire damaged 16 cars at World Class Auto on Route 17C in the village. Police say the flames broke out just before 3am Sunday.
No one was injured, but World Class Auto owner Carl Morse says the fire caused at least $35,000 in damages. He has been selling used cars at the location for the last five years.
Anyone with information about the suspicious fire is asked to call Waverly Police at 565-2836.
