WAVERLY — One of the Valley’s longest running businesses will close its doors at the end of this month.

Ted Clark’s Busy Market, located at 118 Broad Street in Waverly, announced on its Facebook page on Thursday night that its last day in business would be on Feb. 29 following a 92-year run as a locally-owned, family-run grocery store.

Here is the Facebook post announcing the news:

“With heavy hearts we regret to inform our loyal customers that we will be closing Ted Clark’s Busy Market. Our last day of operation will be February 29th.

Running our unique store in recent years has been a constant challenge given the grocery market trends. Please know that we did everything we could and are proud to have served our community for over 92 years.

We want to thank our wonderful customers for your patronage. We also thank our great employees for helping make Ted Clark’s Busy Market the friendliest place to shop in the Valley for so many years. We will truly miss you all.

Make sure to stop in this month to use your TCBM Gift Cards. We will honor them until our last day of business.

With Appreciation,
Tim, Kathy & Andy”
