Two retired New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation Forest Rangers took the stand yesterday afternoon in Schoharie County Court at the Cal Harris murder trial. They were retired forest rangers Terry Figery and Norman Jenson. NYSP Investigator Michael Myers was on the stand for cross examination to start the proceedings yesterday. Also, for the fourth time since the trial started, the defense requested a mistrial. Defense attorney Bruce Barket cited Judge George Bartlett’s alleged bias toward the prosecution as the reason. Bartlett shot down the request almost immediately. The state’s eleventh witness will be called to the stand this morning. Brian Earley, Michele’s boyfriend, is scheduled to testify.
